Question
Does HULFT Transfer support EBCDIC type code sets?
Answer
HULFT Transfer supports EBCDIC code sets.
HULFT Transfer supports both 2-byte and 1-byte codes for conversion to EBCDIC character sets.
How to set up
Select "Mainframe" or "IBM i" for HULFT Transfer Hosts > Host Type and specify EBCDIC code set of the other host for Character Code.
The EBCDIC set value actually used for 1-byte code conversion is automatically determined by the combination of your host's transfer code and the other host's EBCDIC code set.
For the combination, please refer to the manual for the package version of HULFT below.
