Garbled characters when importing structure definition file when creating schema

When I imported a structure definition file (JSON/XML) in Schemas resource creation, garbled characters occurred in the text area of the screen.
What is the cause and what can I do about it?

Answer

The file format supported by Schemas resource import function is UTF-8.
If you import a file of an unsupported format, it may cause unexpected behavior such as garbled multibyte characters.

As a countermeasure, please consider the following:

• Change the format of the structure definition file to UTF-8.
• Open the file you want to import with a text editor, copy the contents and paste them into the text area.
