Question
In Monitoring > APP EVENT > HULFT Transfer, there is an item called Compression Ratio.
Even if I apply compression in the script, the ratio is about 3%, which seems not high enough.
How can I get higher value in this?
Answer
The compression ratio is calculated by the following formula.
Compression ratio = file size after compression / file size before compression * 100
Therefore, if the compression ratio is 3%, the data is compressed to 3% of the original data size.
Example: 100MB -> 3MB
Therefore, the smaller the compression ratio value, the higher compression is applied to the transferred file.
