How a running schedule job will behave when its specified Integrate Service is changed while running?

We have a schedule job that is currently active.
I would like to change Service to run scripts in edit menu of the schedule Job in order to scale up the Integrate Service memory specified for that job.

I assume that when I change the specified Integrate Service, jobs that have already been executed will continue running on the old Integrate Service, and jobs that fire after the change will run on the new Integrate Service. Is this understanding correct?
