Question
When creating a project, I downloaded HULFTSquareDesigner.exe from the link in the window and tried to launch Designer.
As I launched the exe file, the installation of Designer started, but an error occurred during the installation process.
Please tell me how to deal with the error.
Answer
If an error occurs during installation of Designer, please try the following workarounds.
Workaround 1
Delete the Designer cache and try downloading Designer again.
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
Workaround 2
If workaround1 did not solve the problem, please try the following steps:
1. Delete the Designer cache beforehand.
2. Enable the proxy server setting in Windows if it is disabled.
3. Launch Designer.
If you have no problem after enabling the proxy server setting, you can continue to work in this state.
In implementations and operations with web requests that are not supported by the proxy server, do the following step as well.
4. Disable the proxy server setting with Designer running.
Note
If you delete Designer cache, you will not be able to start Designer unless you enable the proxy server setting.
Users who frequently switch between DataSpider Servista and DataSpider Studio, or users who use DataSpider Studio, are recommended to be aware of this.
