Question
I understand that HULFT Square's Receive Multiplex Level is fixed to 10.
When I send more than 10 files from a HULFT, the error "0516-0000" will occur in a shorter time than the time set in the [Connect Retry Count] and [Connect Retry Interval] on the HULFT side.
I assume that the error occured due to the exceeding of the Receive Multiplex Level, but can you tell me why the [Connect Retry Count] and [Connect Retry Interval] on the HULFT side are not active?
Answer
[System Environment Settings]-[Receive Multiplex Level Over Retry] on the HULFT side might not set to "1".
The [Connect Retry Count] and [Connect Retry Interval] are the settings that specify the time to wait for reconnection attempts and the number of reconnection attempts when a socket connection to the other host fails.
However, [Receive Multiplex Level Over Retry] must be set to "1" to activate the above settings when the Receive Multiplex Level is exceeded.
Also, since the over retry function has been available since "HULFT Ver.6", the [Connect Retry Count] and [Connect Retry Interval] settings cannot be used to reconnect when the HULFT version 5 or lower is used on the sending side.
