Question
I received an error "STS=310 DSTS=261" when submitting from HULFT Square to HULFT.
What should I do to resolve this error?
Answer
As a premise, HULFT Square error codes are based on HULFT8 for Unix/Linux.
Also, STS refers to status codes and DSTS refers to detail codes.
The error "STS=310 DSTS=261" indicates that the sending host, HULFT Square in this case, was not able to connect to the receiving host at the network level.
Therefore, please check if the hostname and port No. set in the sending host are correct and if there are any problems in the network environment such as firewalls, and take action such as changing the settings if necessary.
The following points should be checked when this error occurs:
- Whether the network environment was normal at the time the error occurred.
*This error may occur due to a temporary problem at the network level.
Therefore, if there is a successful track record of transfers, re-execution may result in successful completion.
- Whether there is a problem with the filtering settings on the firewall or router on the network path.
Note
Since August 10, 2023, AWS NLB has supported security groups but HULFT Square does not open its private IP address information.
Therefore, If you apply inbound rules for traffics sent through PrivateLink, it may cause STS=310 DSTS=261 error.
In that case, try to configure the load balancer not to apply inbound rules for traffics sent through PrivateLink.
For details, please also see the AWS document below.

- Whether the HULFT Transfer Send > Receiver in HULFT Square matches the System Environment Settings > Local host Name in HULFT (receiving host).
