Does Salesforce Bulk Connector occur inbound communication?

I am concerned that processing on the HULFT Square side might not be completed permanently, or might be terminated abnormally due to a timeout if inbound communication occurs when acquiring process results, and if inbound communication to the NAT Gateway is restricted.

Inbound communication does not occur on Salesforce Bulk Connector.

As explained in the online help below, only outbound communication occurs on the connnector because batch results and other information are acquired from the HULFT Square side.
