Cannot leave middle name blank in My Profile

Question

Once I set a middle name in My Profile, I am not able to delete the middle name and set it blank.
I am able to change it to a different middle name, but I am unable to apply a space as middle name.
I tentatively address this issue by adding a space to middle name.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Answer

Middle name cannot be left blank as a specification.
Therefore, once middle name is set, it cannot be left blank.
As a workaround, please enter any character, such as a space.
